RAMADAN 2010

Cornell Students break their fast.
Thank you for helping more than 120 Muslim students at Cornell experience a vibrant, spiritual Ramadan this year. Your donation will go towards providing us with food and supplies for fast-breaking and hosting a haafiz imam for the nightly prayers (taraweeh). Any donation that is not used this year will go towards an Eid celebration or will be used next year.

Using the form below, please donate for our Ramadan fund in general, or pledge to support one iftaar entirely or any portion of one. Each nightly iftaar costs us $400. We estimate that we will need approximately $12,000 to cover the entire cost of Ramadan as well as an Eid celebration following Ramadan. We can not do this without you.

May Allah (swt) reward you immeasurably for your support... but do not keep the opportunity for reward to yourself! Please encourage other people you know to also participate.

How to Donate
Please fill out the Donation form on the left. You will then recieve an email confirming your donation. Please make your check out to Muslim Educational and Cultural Association, indicate Ramadan Fund on the check, and mail it to:

Any donation that exceeds what will be used on the nights you specify will be used on any of the other nights in Ramadan. Any money received that exceeds what we use this year will be spent in an Eid celebration or will be saved in our Ramadan Fund account and utilized next year exclusively for the purpose you have given it.

If you would not like the money to be used for an Eid celebration, but saved for the following Ramadan, please indicate this in the Request section of the donation form.
